Microlearnings are small pieces of learning content which takes users a maximum of 10 minutes. They are nice and short and very useful. A microlearning focusses on a specific topic and you've got the possibility to offer microlearnings in various forms. Think for example of videos, audio fragments, articles or blogs. Microlearnings make learning easier and more fun. A few advantages of microlearnings:
Microlearning ensures less cognitive burden and no long attention span of the users is needed. Learning doesn't need to be a scheduled activity anymore and can be done quickly in between. The barrier to learn is thus lower, which stimulates users to keep up with their learning processes. This ensures more involvement and motivation among the employees.
Because microlearnings regard small pieces of specific information, the user can directly apply the knowledge to the practice. This way, they'll remember this information longer than when reading long texts.
Add a title
Give the microlearning a title so you can easily retrieve it from the library.
Add learning units
Add up until 3 learning units. You're free to choose which learning units this will be. For example: text, video & question.
Learning objectives and tags
You can add learning goals and tags to your content. By using learning objectives we can measure the progress and activity per learning goal. When you use tags, you can retrieve content easier in the Warehouse. Start typing and suggestions will directly appear for learning objectives and tags you've used before.
