In some cases, a user may not need to complete a learning activity if they have already completed a similar learning activity. For example, if certain components of an e-learning have already been covered in another e-learning. This is where exemptions can come in handy. By granting an exemption, you indicate that if someone has completed learning activity X, they do not need to go through learning activity Y again.
How do I set an exemption?
Open the learning activity for which a user should be exempted through 'Courses'. Then, navigate to the 'Settings' tab. At the bottom of the page, you will find the option for exemptions. Note that an exemption can only be set for an e-learning or an exam.
