Do you have an audio fragment that supports your content or learning goals? You can easily add it to your e-learning or microlearning. Audio fragments ensure a nice variation for the users. This can contribute to the effectivity of learning.

How do I add audio?

  • Select the learning format 'Audio'.

  • Add a title and optionally a description. The audio file will be saved in the Warehouse based on the title. You can hide the title from users by clicking on the eye icon next to it.

  • Add the audio file. Drag and drop the file into the designated area or click on 'Choose a file'.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: Learning objectives and tags

You can add learning objectives and tags to learning formats. Learning objectives are useful for creating exams based on specific objectives. By using tags, you can easily find content in the Warehouse. As you start typing, suggestions will appear for learning objectives and tags you have previously used.

Which file formats can I add?

The following file formats are supported in your online academy:

  • MP3

  • OGG

  • WebM

Note: We do not support MP4A files.

How can I strategically use audio clips?

  • Ensure that the audio fragment is no 'read out-loud' version of the earlier added text. Audio fragments work best when they complement the text, for example by going deeper into a certain aspect.

  • Always use audio of good quality. Ensure that it's lucid and clearly audible.

  • Choose audio that connects to the tone and language use of the rest of your content.
